Fareway raises more than $163,000 to support kids and adults with muscular dystrophy

BOONE, IA — The Muscular Dystrophy Association of Iowa announced today that its 2018 Fareway Shamrocks fundraising program raised $163,553 to help free kids and adults from the harm of muscular dystrophy, ALS and related muscle-debilitating diseases.

Gov. Reynolds, Lt. Gov. Gregg announce nominations for Iowa Opportunity Zones

DES MOINES – Gov. Kim Reynolds and Lt. Gov. Adam Gregg, along with the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA), announced the 62 Iowa census tract nominations for Opportunity Zones designation on Friday. Opportunity Zones is a new economic development program administered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
