Economic Development Board Approves Awards To Support Over $87 Million In Capital Investment In Iowa

DES MOINES  – Today, the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) board awarded direct financial assistance and tax benefits to four companies for job creation and expansion projects. These awards will assist in the creation of 186 jobs, retention of 21 jobs and will result in over $87 million in new capital investment for the state.

Iowa Economic Development Board approves $280 million in capital investment in Iowa and $9.6 million to Mason City’s Reinvestment District Program

DES MOINES – Today, the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) board awarded direct financial assistance and tax benefits to two companies for job creation and expansion projects. These awards will assist in the creation of 168 jobs, retention of 42 jobs and will result in over $280 million in new capital investment for the state.

DES MOINES – The newest Iowa Wine and Beer directory includes listings for 86 wineries, 79 breweries and 11 distilleries across the state. The 175 directory listings represent a 10 percent increase over the previous edition released in 2015.
